ICAPS MISSION

The International Center for the Advancement of Pastoral systems seeks to understand and protect a working balance between rural communitites and natural systems. We will contiune to study global change as it impacts wildlife, people, and ecosystems and raise awareness of these issues through timely and artistic media. ICAPS draws many of its values and inspiration from the tradition of rural families worldwide who have been living in balance with the natural systems for a millennia.
